Jacobsville Lighthouse

The Portage River Light overlooks Lake Superior's Keweenaw Bay. The present structure was built in 1870. The tower stands 65 feet tall and has a red lantern room. It is now a private residence. Directions to this light can be found in the town of Jacobsville, but it is on privately owned property. In April 2005 it became a Bed & Breakfast.
